dR DAVID ISTED, GDC No. 61638
BChD Qualified Leeds 1986
dR SUSAN WATSON, GDC No. 62737
BChD Qualified Leeds 1987
After qualifying in the 80’s and spending time working in other dental practices Dave and Sue decided in 1999 to take the plunge together and open White Peak Dental Practice in the heart of the Ashbourne community. After providing NHS care for a number of years they decided in 2009 to make the move to become a fully private and independent practice as they felt that changes in the NHS were not allowing them to deliver the quality and care for their patients that they desired. Between them they bring a wealth of experience and both participate regularly in postgraduate courses to keep up to date with current developments in the dental field. Sue enjoys helping patients achieve their dental goals whether improving their smile or making it easier for them to eat, whilst Dave is interested in restorative dentistry and occlusal treatments (jaw joint problems). Dave is also a member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentists and regularly attends their courses. They are both here in the practice most days and love to welcome new patients to the practice for consultations and regular appointments. They are both very popular having some patients that have been with them from the very start of the practice opening.
Outside of work Dave has a passion for quizzes and is often found listening to the Radio 2 daily quiz, and as well as this he likes to walk, cook and play tennis. Sue enjoys exploring new horizons through travel, music, reading and different cuisines with her family and friends. She also enjoys Zumba, tennis and walking.
